ABOUT THE PROJECT

When you're marketing rain clothes, the weather is a big factor. Instead of contacting the weather gods, multiple digital billboards connected to rain meters was designed. These were subsequently placed all over Oslo. When it rained, the billboards came to life, matching the weather on the screen.

When it rains…

I worked with the campaign team over at Helly Hansen and Clear Channel to design and animate the digital billboards for the campaign, making them feel as rainy as possible. A rain sensor was then placed on roof at Clear Channel in Stortingsgata in Oslo to made sure the digital billboards only was displayed when it rained.

+145% sales growth
